The History of Psych Industries
Psych Industries was established in 2019 in direct response to South Africa's escalating mental health crisis. Recognizing that psychological challenges stemming from socio-economic disparities, untreated disorders, educational deficiencies, professional burnout, and prohibitive healthcare costs remained largely unaddressed, we initiated our mission to deliver affordable, customized mental health services. Since our inception, we have successfully assisted numerous individuals and organizations in enhancing psychological wellbeing. Our founding vision has strategically evolved to bridge the critical intersection between mental health services and the corporate sector, addressing a significant gap in the national healthcare landscape.

Jediael Shalom - Director & Co-Founder
Bio
Jediael is a graduate professional educated in the field of psychology, communication, and coaching. A dedicated and passionate leader with vast experience in people development, strategic planning, and change management. Jediael co-founded Psych Industries with one big goal in mind: to make psychological insights practical and accessible to individuals and corporate clients. Along the way, one thing became clear to Jediael: people want support that’s both grounded in science and easy to relate to. That’s exactly what Psych Industries was built to offer. Today, Jediael focuses on building corporate partnerships and experiences that help people and organizations thrive and feel more equipped to take on life and work challenges. He is endlessly curious about how people change and the ways in which we can activate our true potential.
Imeraan Isaacs - Director & Co-Founder
Bio
Imeraan is a distinguished mental health practitioner who has acquired substantive experience at various esteemed institutions across the Western Cape. In his capacity as Co-Founder at Psych Industries, Imeraan oversees the implementation of evidence-based psychological services and spearheads the development of comprehensive workshop curricula. His professional focus centers on the creation of methodologically sound psycho-educational materials, informed by his extensive background in counseling and organizational leadership. Imeraan demonstrates exceptional proficiency in strategic planning, empathic communication, and project management, dedicated to enhancing accessibility to quality mental health resources across diverse demographic contexts.
